Everybody wants to be a success person. They will try to do anything to get success in their life. Success is according to strategy and experience of life. Success will create happiness. Success will make us live in peace.
Holy bible through Paul in Philippians 4: 4 – 7 teach us to reach happiness in our life. We will learn four tips through this section.
The first point is learning to rejoice in the Lord. Philippians 4:4 said “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice”. Why we need to rejoice in the Lord? Because in the Lord there will be an encouragement from God. Like what Philippians 2:1 said “If you have any encouragement from being unite with Christ, if any fellowship with the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion”. Because only God who has power to control your life. Therefore, we must rejoice just in Him.
The second one is letting your gentleness be evident to all. Philippians 4:5 said, “Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” What kind of gentleness that should we do? Paul give us an answer in 1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” We can be an example in speech by our style of speech. We always need to talk in a positive way. We must say positive words to others. Therefore, we will be a good example to others. Then, we need to have a good attitude in our life. Do not do something good just in the church. Nevertheless, wherever you are, let us always act well. You also need to love others. To love others, you need to love yourself first. If you can love yourself, so you can do the same thing to others.
The third is you do not have to worry. Philippians 4:6 said, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” You do not need to worry about your life. God will always care about you. Just say what you need and what you want by praying to Him. He will hear your entire request. You just wait and see that He will give that to you in His time.
Then the last one is giving your fully heart and mind in Him. Philippians 4:7 said, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.” God will give you a peaceful live if you want to give your heart and mind to Him.
Overall, the important thing is doing all that you have learn. Like what Philippians 4:8-9 said, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent and praiseworthy – thinks about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. ” Let us practice together. God bless you.
