The charts below show the results of a survey of adult education. The first chart shows the reasons why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people think the costs of adult education should be shared.
Write a report for a university lecturer, describing the information shown below.
You should write at least 150 words.
Education is an important thing. It is useful not only for children but also for adult. There are many reasons why adult still want to take education. According to the survey, the main reason of an adult who takes education is the interesting side in the subjects of education. This reason gets 40 percent in the survey. The second reason is to gain qualification. Adult needs education to make more their self more qualified.
They also think that education can help them for their current job; this reason gets 22 percent. Improving prospects of promotion and enjoying learning or studying get the same percentage as adult’s education reason. The other reason is about able to change jobs with this new education. In addition, the last reason is to meet other people by taking education.
Education for adult takes cost more than education for children. Adult think that they can share this cost. There is a survey about how adult think that they can share the cost with other. According to the survey, the main person who takes the first place in adult education cost is the person himself. Adult takes 40 percent for the cost while employer takes 35 percent. Adult thinks that when they have graduate, they can improve their work place, so they need a help from the employer to pay the cost in education. The last one is the taxpayer; it takes 25 percent in cost shared.
