Internet voters have chosen a new image to represent the concept of human rights. Around 25 percent choose 33-years-old Serbian freelance graphic designer Pedrag Stakic's submission after after an international jury that included five Nobel Peace Prize winners narrowed the contest down to 10 finalists.
Stakic said he combined two universal symbols, a hand and a bird, for his design symbolizing a "free, just and peaceful world".
The open source logo is available on the website Human Rights Logo for download and use in promoting human rights.
