The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
You should write at least 150 words.
The chart shows leisure time in a typical week with different employment status and sex in 1996 to 1999. There are five different kinds employment in this chart. There are full time employed, part time employed, unemployed, retired, and housewives. There are only three different kinds of employment that contains of both sexes. There are employee with full time session of works, unemployed, and retired.
Unemployed males and retired males have the biggest leisure time in a typical week with about 90 hours of leisure time. Unemployed females and retired females take 20 hours below of unemployed males and retired males. The unemployed and retired have the same position even for males or females.
For Employed and housewives, there are only females in here. Females Housewives have about 55 hours of leisure time in a typical week while females employed has 5 hours below female’s housewives. There are two kinds of employee. Part time employed in this chart is for females only.
Full time employed is for females and males. Males full time employed has bigger leisure time than females full time employed. Males employed take about 50 hours of leisure time in a typical week while females full time employed have 35 hours of leisure time in a typical week.
